A large-scale public installation combining physical design and augmented reality, attracting over 80,000 visitors across two seasons and generating national media coverage.

I led the project end-to-end, from concept and fundraising through to production, launch and live operation. This included directing a multidisciplinary team and shaping an experience that invited audiences to step through a portal into the town’s past, bringing Victorian seaside heritage to life for a broad public audience.

Using their own devices, visitors engaged with volumetric video characters and digitally reconstructed environments, including Victorian bathing machines and the story of pioneering bathing machine operator and lifesaver Mary Wheatland.

Developed in collaboration with local partners, the project ensured historical accuracy while delivering a reliable and seamless on-site experience. It was recognised internationally as a finalist at the 2024 Auggie Awards.

Further Work

Architectural Glass Design

John Lewis Cheltenham Glass Facade at night

John Lewis: Cheltenham – Glass Façade

A large-scale architectural glass facade for John Lewis Cheltenham, delivering over 200 square metres of precision-designed glass.

Commissioned to design the facade in collaboration with Andrew Moor Associates, I developed a digitally printed ceramic frit pattern aligned precisely with the building’s structural geometry.

My role focused on translating a detailed visual concept into a production-ready design, ensuring consistency across multiple large panels while meeting strict technical and environmental requirements.

The final installation balances visual clarity with performance, reducing solar gain while establishing a distinctive identity for the building within its urban context.

John Lewis: Oxford – Architectural Glass

For the John Lewis store in Oxford, I was asked to develop designs for a series of large windows around the building using digitally printed laminated interlayers.

Working with architects and glass specialists Andrew Moor Associates, I created a repeat pattern that could scale across large areas of glazing while maintaining clarity and consistency. The design needed to work at both architectural and human scale, requiring careful control of detail, tone and alignment across multiple panels.

I led the translation of the concept into production-ready artwork, ensuring accuracy through manufacturing and delivering a resolved design for a high-profile retail environment.

Wallpaper design for Mister Winner, BBC Comedy

Recreated and designed bespoke wallpapers and printed textiles for film and television, working from limited reference material to match out-of-print designs or develop original patterns for production.

Managed artwork, sampling and production in collaboration with art departments and specialist printers to tight deadlines, ensuring precise colour matching and consistency at scale. Credits include Saltburn, The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, Life After Life (C4) and Mr. Winner (BBC).

I was commissioned to design and produce a series of large-scale graphic elements for the revival of Spitting Image. Working within a fast-paced television production environment, I developed visual concepts and production-ready artwork for a range of set pieces, including a set of bespoke stained glass windows created for a satirical “Illuminati” sequence.

The work required rapid turnaround, close collaboration with the production designer and print teams, and precise colour matching to ensure consistency on camera. My role combined design, technical preparation and on-set awareness, delivering graphics that supported the tone of the programme while meeting the practical demands of broadcast production.

I have further experience on major film and television productions.

Music & Performance
Live visuals, touring work and performance-based projects.

Will Dutta – Touring Stage Installation

I designed and developed the stage environment for Will Dutta’s Bloom tour, creating a free-standing structure that framed the performer and became the surface for projection-mapped visuals.

The work was developed through close collaboration between the artist, projection and visual content designers, and myself, combining spatial design, moving image and stage lighting into a unified visual language. Animated content was carefully timed to respond to the music, balancing clarity with atmosphere.

My role covered concept, design and delivery, ensuring the piece functioned effectively in a live touring context while maintaining a coherent and immersive audience experience.

Swingrowers: Freshly Squeezed Records – Music Video

I produced and directed the official music video for Butterfly by Swingrowers, leading the project from initial concept through to final delivery. I developed the visual direction and assembled a small specialist team including animators and an editor to realise the work.

The video combines graphic, kaleidoscopic visuals with a performance-led approach, with animated sequences loosely inspired by the choreography and visual language of classic Busby Berkeley films.

I managed the production within a defined budget set by the record label, overseeing all stages of the process to ensure a cohesive result across design, animation and edit.

The video has since reached an audience of over 8 million views on YouTube.

The Orb – Live Visuals & Tour Delivery

I led the booking and delivery of a collaborative live show featuring The Orb and the Kakatsitsi Master Drummers from Ghana on the West Holts Stage at Glastonbury Festival, overseeing the project from initial concept through to on-stage execution.

Working in conjunction with Deep Visual, The Orb’s long-standing video artists, I developed and delivered some of the visual content for the performance, ensuring it aligned with the band’s established aesthetic while introducing new material for the show.

I managed the advance for the Glastonbury appearance, coordinating technical, logistical and production requirements.

Following this, I worked as Tour Manager for The Orb’s 25th anniversary UK tour, delivering 21 shows nationwide.
